The Winter Session of Classes at First Presbyterian and Rose Park recently ended just a few weeks ago in April. Many of the class participants commented on how much they got out of the program’s unique approach to language leaning.  

We will be holding informational classes in late August at Rose Park Christian School on the north side as well as at First Presbyterian Church on the south side for both native Spanish and English-speaking persons. A number of our students have expressed an interest in taking a summer class. We are looking into it, and if there is enough interest to fill a class, we will post that information in the next few weeks on this site.

So, you really want to get to know a language… and a special culture? Then this approach is for you. The Reciprocal Language Partnership is the most unique way to get to know your community in all its diversity. Learn English and teach Spanish to someone who will teach you English. Students who have done it say that it is one of the most unique and effective ways to learn a language while sharing yours with a partner.

Immerse yourself in the Fall 2009 Classes. It is one of the most reasonable cost programs you’ll find to learn a language so that it “sticks.” The Reciprocal Language Program will have openings for all levels from total beginner to intermediate levels. No experience or prior language learning is required. Classes are scheduled to commence in mid September! Classes are available on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday– the final schedule will depend on how many people enroll on what nights.
